Rights List
The GBO recommends suitable German titles to North American publishers via its Rights List.
Twice a year, the GBO compiles a list of new fiction and non-fiction titles, and once a year it creates a similar list for children’s books Rights List.
Selection Process
The German Book Office selects new and noteworthy titles by scouting the German book market. If you are a German publisher and would like to recommend one of your books for our rights list, please contact us via email prior to sending us your book or manuscript.
E-mail: stock@gbo.org
Please note that we only work directly with publishers and do not represent any authors or translators. If we decide to take on your book we would contact you via email.
